KINGFISH
Sleek, fast, and fun to catch! Kingfish are one of the largest of the Mackerel family. Mostly caught on floating live or dead baits behind the boat but have also been known to grab a bait sitting on the bottom and the fight is on! Kingfish can run from 5lbs to 70+lbs. Hang on tight to that fishing rod when you hook into one of these!
MANGROVE SNAPPER
One of the most plentiful snapper out there and delicious eating. Not as big as a Red Snapper, averaging 2-3lbs. but a 10lb. fish is also possible. This species will often school up with other snapper and bottom fish.
COBIA
Looking like a cross between a shark and an oversized catfish, Cobia grow to over 100lbs. They are a delicious, firm, white meat making them a highly sought after food fish. Mostly caught while fishing for other species, it's always a nice surprise to see one of these guys show up at the end of your line.
YELLOWTAIL SNAPPER
Like the Mangrove Snapper, the YellowTail is smaller than the Red Snapper but is very plentiful and great eats. Known for the big, bright, yellow tail, these super colorful fish will swim up off the bottom, making them a fun target on lighter tackle.
HOGFISH
Also called Hog Snapper, these unique looking fish are considered by many to be the best of the best. Feeding mostly on shrimp and other crustaceans, this is what gives the Hogfish its amazing colors.
SHARKS
Want something really big to pull on? There are several different varieties of sharks swimming around the Gulf. Bulls, Hammerheads, Reef, Tigers, and many more are waiting to give you a fight. Just don't tell the folks swimming at the beach what you've seen. Let your captain know if you want to tangle with one of these giants.
Blackfin Tuna
These guys show up in the Spring time and are often caught while we are anchored up, fishing for snapper and grouper. It's always a good idea to have a top bait out, you never know when will swim through your chum line. Blackfins average around 20lbs. Great fun and great eats!
Open today | 07:00 am – 07:00 am |
Your trip will began with us meeting you in the parking lot. After a quick meet and greet we will head toward the boat. Our captain and crew will go through the safety procedures, amenities on the boat, and the particulars of the days trip.
We will happily fish for anything you desire, as it is your trip, your day, your boat. We can fish for anything but remember we can only catch what bites. You and your captain will talk about fishing before your trip and formulate a game plan based on what your expectations are and what has been biting the days lading up to your trip.
We want to make sure your trip is everything you expect and more. Our captains and crew are not clock watchers, coming back a little late is something that happens all the time. If they are biting and it's time to return home, we'll often stay and put more fish in the box. If it's a slow day, why not stay a bit longer and see if they start biting. Book a Red Snapper trip and limit out early then we will go and chase another species. Bottom line, we love fishing, we love what we do and it shows.
